The cornerstone of our activities is our K.I.S.S. programme, a season of Kids in Show Seats live pantomimes, raising funds and providing entertainment to special needs and disadvantaged children.
In addition, our annual Kids Big Day Out held during the summer period provides up to 1500 special needs and disadvantaged children and their caregivers a fun day out at a theme park with lots of thrilling rides, a free BBQ lunch for all....and provides much needed funds to beneficiary charities.
Who helps us
Since Southern Stars Charitable Trust was established, we have raised millions of dollars for children’s charities in New Zealand, and up to 36,000 special needs and disadvantaged children have been entertained through our events annually.
The Trust is indebted to many people, supporters and organisations for this achievement.
Who we help
We have dedicated ourselves to providing a better life for special needs and disadvantaged children in New Zealand by providing assistance through various charitable organisations.
Last year these charities included The Burn Support Group Charitable Trust, Kidney Kids, Koru Care New Zealand, Radio Lollipop, Kidsline, and New Zealand Down Syndrome Association.
